Xbox 360 hard drive contents

At long last, Microsoft has revealed the contents of their Xbox 360 hard drive. And what’s inside? Flying monkeys! Okay, not really. The detachable 20 GB hard drive comes with:
A number of Gamer Tiles, a custom soundtrack, an arcade puzzle game and videos.
The Gamer Tiles included will allow gamers to personalize their Gamer Cards by selecting one of these tiles to display as their icon when browsing Xbox Live.
A custom soundtrack, described by J Allard as a “free album” with “some really good tracks on it”, will allow gamers to road-test the Xbox 360’s audio abilities.
The provided videos include a brief “The Making of Xbox 360″ feature that will give gamers an insight into how the next-gen console was made, as well as acquainting them with the console’s video capability.
The arcade game Hexic will give gamers an impression of the type of arcade games that will be available on Xbox Live.
And what does Adidas have to do with it? Not sure yet. It’s likely you’ll have to get the 360 to find out. Perhaps the next generation of Xbox consoles will come tennis shoe-shaped. With shoelaces for cables …
Hm, I’m getting ahead of myself.

I really hope they come up with a manual that makes it easy to remove whatever content the user doesn’t want. That’s definitely a deal-breaker where I’m concerned. 20 GB isn’t that big, and I don’t want to have to spend hours searching forums, and webpages, to find out how to delete preloaded content.

I was actually just thinking about that. I wonder how much of those 20GB are going to be already used up with all the pre-loaded crap they’re including. Hopefully, they’ll make it easy to delete unwanted content, but knowing Microsoft, it’s likely going to be a pain in the ass. Guess we’ll see. The more I learn about the Xbox 360, the less interested I am.

Hahaha. That seems to be the issue on everyone’s mind. How to delete all the pre-loaded crap. That was exactly my first thought reading the article.
